Updated Wednesday, March 3, 2010 9:38 am TWN, The China Post news staff Temperatures to plummet by 10 degrees next week: CWBDue to a strong cold air mass, temperatures for next week will plummet by around 10 degrees Celsius around the country. Occasional showers will be scattered across the north, the central and the east while the south will be comparatively dry. Temperatures will fall to between 10 and 15 degrees in the north, between 12 and 21 degrees in central areas and between 14 and 24 degrees in the south, according to the CWB. From today till Friday, it will be cloudy or sunny in most parts of the island; only the eastern, northeastern and mountainous areas will encounter occasional showers. However, as a cold front approaches this weekend, the weather will turn wet in northern, central and eastern Taiwan; other areas will be cloudy, according to the weather forecast.
