The vice premier pointed out the significance of FocusTaiwan as an English news platform to provide real time, objective and detailed reports which enable English language readers around the world to know more about Taiwan and the issues and events happening here. The editorial abstracts and Talk of the Day are features of the service that the vice premier found very useful to inform international readers of the different opinions over issues and events in Taiwan, as reflected in its media.
