While on a tour of inspection in southern Taiwan, the premier asked whether his Cabinet may be reshuffled after local elections scheduled for December 5 are held. “I can't rule that possibility out,” the premier told reporters. Voters will go to the polls to elect 17 mayors and magistrates across the country. A number of incumbent KMT mayors and magistrates are banned from seeking re-election.
