Mooncakes work for the mentally disabled

Chang Yu-lin, director-general of the CAUF, expressed his concern that mooncake sales may decrease this year due to inflation and the surging price of producing materials.

However, he added that they have made some changes in their cakes by coping with the NKHC to produce fruit flavored cakes. In addition, they also placed a printed copy of a famous work of calligraphy on their packaging to not only create an incentive for customers but also make their packaging aesthetically pleasing.

To promote their products, the manager of NKHC demonstrated how to make the mooncakes at a press conference, which was followed by a demonstration of artistry by a famed calligrapher.

By cooperating with the TPO, Chang said, it’s getting easier for the customers to get their products and pave a way for the handicapped kids to earn a living, stating that by purchasing their products, customers are also giving to the foundation.
