Australia envoy pleased by Yunlin agricultural assets

TAIPEI -- Martin Walsh, deputy representative of the Australian Office Taipei, said Wednesday that he recognized the Yunlin County government's efforts to create a safe and friendly environment for local farmers.

Yunlin's agricultural products are already well known in the world, Walsh said after visiting the country's Agriculture Expo.

As part of the exchanges between Taiwan and Australia, Walsh said, he would like to share Yunlin's experience with other foreign friends and spread the expo's concept of sustainable and healthy agriculture.
