Large MIT New Year sale to kick off in YunlinSince last December, MOEA has issued accreditations to qualified Taiwan-made products to make sure the Taiwanese goods sold are of the best quality. Up till now, 70 manufacturers and 189 products have been accredited as MIT. In addition to licensed goods, certified agricultural products from Yunlin County, such as Yunlin-grown agricultural products, locally manufactured souvenirs and Yunlin-raised livestock products such as pork and chicken, will also be featured during the event. The sale has reportedly attracted a large pool of buyers and sellers who will offer a variety of unique promotional products to help customers indulge their shopping whim. MIT textile products have long held a reputation for being conscientious, safe, quality-guaranteed and trustworthy and they are well loved by buyers both from home and abroad. To establish an international profile in the textile market and expand its overseas market, government officials and private sectors have joined forces to build a stronger brand image for Taiwan-produced items. The organizers are holding four interactive activities each day during the three-day event, including riddles, red-envelope giveaways, product price assessment games and lucky draws with prizes including quality bicycles, luggage cases and silk quilts. Customers who spend more than NT$1,000 will receive a gift from the organizers. Held during the most festive season of the year, the event will be filled with fun and surprises. Customers can shop till they drop without emptying their wallets. Boasting many family activities, the county government is inviting everyone to enjoy this highly anticipated event. | |||||||||||||
