The force caught the suspects in two places in Ta-hsing Rd. and Tien-hsiang Rd. in Taoyuan City that the group rented as their base. According to the officials, three of the suspects, surnamed Huang, Luo and nicknamed Kang-ke, led the group, and tricked or persuaded Chinese women to enter the sex trade. The group started matching Taiwanese men to Chinese nationals for marriage in 2004 and brought the girls to Taiwan for prostitution, said the police. The agency used 22 landlines for their business and only took phone calls from familiar customers or hotels, appointing drivers to transport the designated girls to the locations, said the police. The police added that the Chinese girls were forced to take oral contraceptives to delay or stop menstruation so that they could make more money for the group. The ring commanded the drivers to live with the sex workers in order to control the girls, said the officials, and added that the drivers who lived with the girls could acquire a bonus of NT$50 each time when a girl received an order for sex.
