Car thieves leave baby in the back seat alone

TAOYUAN, Taiwan -- Two thieves yesterday stole a station a wagon, only to find a one year-old baby girl in the back seat.

The duo abandoned the car two hours later, and the girl was returned unhurt to her anxious parents by the police.

The pair made off with the station wagon in Luchu, Taoyuan County, while the girl's parents were unloading some materials. The car was found abandoned by the Jungli police approximately two hours later, with the baby girl lying in the back of the car.
