Women arrested for hidden heroin at airport

TAOYUAN, Taiwan -- Two women returning to Taiwan were caught with 751 grams of heroin hidden inside their underpants, tampons, and carry on luggage at Taoyuan Airport yesterday. The women, surnamed Ho and Chiu, are both Taiwanese and were returning from Southeast Asia. Authorities at Taoyuan Airport noticed the women acting strangely, and searched them on arrival, uncovering the heroin. The women have been transferred to the Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office and will be charged under the Narcotics Act.
