Stabbed man reveals attacker before dying

TAITUNG, Taiwan -- A man who had been stabbed died after he managed to make his way to a police station and reveal the name of the alleged attacker, police said yesterday.

A bleeding Liu Chia-hua, 30, staggered into the Taimali Police Station Friday night, pronouned the name “Hsu Ying-chieh,” and fainted, the police said.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he died of bleeding. Doctors were cited by the police as saying that Liu had been stabbed twice.

Police quickly identified Hsu as a friend of the victim, and arrested the suspect. Hsu told police that Liu had often bullied him.

Hsu said that on Friday night, Liu was trying to punch him, and out of defense he stabbed him.
