The National Taiwan University Global MBA announced recently that it is now recruiting and is open for admission.
The application period for Taiwanese students runs from Feb. 18 to March 14, 2014 while
international students can apply from Jan. 6 to March 7, NTU said.
The NTU Global MBA focuses on the three core themes of entrepreneurship, innovation and practical leadership skills, the school said. It aims to help students to transform themselves into star performers on the international stage. Each student receives expert instruction in a number of core classes, covering vital topics such as marketing, finance, economics and organizational behavior, while developing specializations through cutting-edge elective courses, NTU pointed out.
Close collaboration between NTU's academics and global industry combined with innovative collaboration with international institutions enables students to apply the latest theories in practice, as well as to develop sound managerial skills.
Students of the NTU Global MBA will have access to internships at multinational firms, providing exposure to the Chinese and Asia-Pacific market, the school said. The program also has exchange and dual-degree programs with top universities such as Peking University, Kyoto University and HEC Paris.
Half of the Global MBA students are from Taiwan and half from nations such as the U.S. and Canada, as well as Europe and Latin America. This creates a multicultural fabric with students from Asian nations like Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand. The university will hold an admissions information session on Jan. 11, 2014 at College of Management Building 1. For more information, visit http://www.management.ntu.edu.tw/en/GMBA
