Taipei Game Show to show off latest in electronic gamingBy Linger Liu, The China Post TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The Taipei Game Show 2013 will be held at Nangang Exhibition Hall, Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) from Jan. 31 — Feb. 4,, the exhibition organizer said yesterday.
January 28, 2013, 12:00 am TWN The show is organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taipei Computer Association (TCA). The Taipei Game Show (TGS) 2013 is the only annual event of its kind that focuses on the gaming industry in Taiwan, according to the organizer. The exhibition team said the show will host more than 400 booths and is expected to attract more than 300,000 visitors over the five days. The team said the show will allow for a number of business-to-business opportunities, including providing an exhibition space, biz-matching service and a TGS night. Exhibitors will showcase their latest games and products. Online and console game companies set to attend the event include Sony Computer Entertainment of Taiwan, Microsoft, Game Flier, IGS and Runewake. World-famous gaming hardware companies, including Cooler Master (CM Storm), Razer and Tt eSPORTS, will join the show. They will announce the latest gaming products and put on e-sports competitions, said organizers.
