Penetration of notebooks deepest in Taipei: surveyCNA TAIPEI--Taipei has the highest percentage of households with notebook computers compared with the other four special municipalities in the country, according to a survey conducted by Trendgo Research.
January 10, 2013, 12:04 am TWN Fifty percent of households in Taipei have a notebook, followed by 39.34 percent in Kaohsiung, 32.79 percent in Taichung, 32.5 percent in New Taipei and 28.07 percent in Tainan. Among the notebook choices, Taiwan's leading tech brands Asus and Acer accounted for 60 percent of the total, with 80 percent in Taipei alone. The survey was conducted online between January and June 2012 among people aged 12 and over. A total of 870 valid responses were collected. It had a confidence level of 95 percent with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.3 percentage points.
