According to Taiwan's law enforcement, the suspect, surnamed Chen, used multiple accounts to place orders for pricy clothes, bags and shoes from online shopping Web sites in Hong Kong, China and Japan. The suspect tricked the sellers by demanding that he would only make the payment after receiving the goods in order to examine the quality. The victims reported the thefts after realizing the buyer had no intention to submit payment after receiving the goods. During the raid on Chen's place, the police seized some products that Chen allegedly gained from the schemes worth more than NT$1 million.
