Updated Wednesday, November 18, 2009 9:30 am TWN, The China Post news staff Thousands of dead fish found in Danshui RiverTaipei City's Water Resources Bureau had collected water samples and some bodies for lab test along the Dadaocheng Harbor around 7 a.m. The test result will be unveiled within three days, said the bureau. Some citizens believed the fireworks display on Nov. 7 led to severe water pollution and caused the deaths. Taipei City Councilors Chien Yu-yen and Chen Chien-ming were informed of the situation in the morning. They accused the city government of failing to implement a successful river improvement project.
