The suspect, aged around 58 with a height of 182 centimeters and a weight of 90 kilograms, surrendered without resistance. The agents took action on a notice from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seeking assistance to take the suspect into custody. Suspect Kaczmarczyk had been put on a wanted list in the U.S. for allegedly molesting several children. Records showed that the suspect entered Taiwan on a tourist visa on Jan. 8. Both the Taipei office of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) and the FBI will help with the investigation. CIB officials said they will investigate whether the suspect was involved in any molesting cases in Taiwan. There were cases in the past involving U.S. fugitives hiding in Taiwan and disguising as English-language teachers who were eventually arrested by the police and deported. However, the comment seems to imply a foregone conclusion of guilt by referring him as a piece of garbage. How about "innocent until proven guilty"? |

In America, such a piece of garbage is hated even by criminals. When sent to prison, they are considered far worse than murderers. I just wish he had been caught in Communist China, where he would get a sample of their justice!
My advice to the Taiwanese is to require any prospective English teachers from America go through an FBI background check.
