Updated Monday, February 1, 2010 9:43 am TWN, CNA Kenyan runners sweep Tainan MarathonThe marathon was divided into the 42.2-kilometer full marathon, the 21.1 km half marathon, the 10.4 km race and the 3 km race. Kenya's Karanja Elijah Muturi emerged as the champion in the men's full marathon in a time of 2 hours, 16 minutes and 39 seconds, ahead of compatriot and three-time champion Bernard Mutai. Mutai, who has been slowed down this year by a pulled muscle in his leg, said he was simply happy to participate in the race and cross the finish line.
