Driver dies in oil tank truck fire

The Taichung County Fire Bureau received a report of a burning oil truck in the west pier of Taichung Harbor, and successfully extinguished the fire of the Toluene (甲苯)-filled truck in 10 minutes after arriving at the scene. However, the driver of the truck, surnamed Huang, was found dead after the fire was stopped, said the bureau.

After preliminary investigation, the fire was found to have broken out on the truck, which was headed to Taichung Harbor, for unknown reasons near the harbor's checking point. The bureau is probing the accident.
