Updated Saturday, March 6, 2010 11:49 am TWN, The China Post news staff Gun-shot, car crash victim in critical careAround 7 a.m. yesterday morning, the man, Chiang Yu-hsuan, was driving his car out of a motel on the Hsingan Road (興安路) with his girlfriend, surnamed Liang, when two approaching cars tried to block him. A man then jumped out from one of the cars and tried to pull Chiang out of his car. After Chiang put up resistance, the suspect shot him in the chest and then speeded away. Chiang continued to drive after being shot but bumped his car into a traffic island later as he lost control of the sedan due to bleeding from his injured chest. He passed out right after the crash and is still in critical condition after rushed to the hospital. The police are investigating the case to see if it was related to financial disputes.
