Taichung Corning factory suffers power outage

TAICHUNG, Taiwan -- A factory of Corning Taiwan located in Taichung had a power outage, the company said, yesterday, adding there were no casualties or injuries.

Further details will be announced after Corning conducts an investigation into what happened, it said. Corning made the statement after it was reported an accident took place at the plant. Some reports said it was a fire.
