Child development study to be held at Taichung park

TAICHUNG, Taiwan –– The Taichung City Government’s Social Affairs Department has commiss

ioned a local group specializing on child mental health to give free assessments of children at an activity in the central Taiwan city Saturday.

The Wind Dragon Education Foundation welcomed all parents with children up to the age of six to take part in the “child development assessment” activity to be held at Fengle Park in the heart of Taichung.

Many specialists in child development, including speech therapists, special education teachers and psychologists, will be on hand to provide parents with consultation services and to answer questions regarding the state of their children’s mental development.

Fun activities to keep the children entertained and to give parents a better understanding of their kids’ development will also be held at the event.
