Policeman's wife helps to catch a robber

The Pingtung woman, surnamed Wang, was knocked down by a vehicle while riding a scooter on the street of Wandan Township (萬丹鄉). Wang stated that despite her pain following the 'accident,' she became suspicious when the car driver began searching for her purse instead of assisting her. She then searched for the suspect's license plate and found it covered by wet tissue paper.

Wang managed to copy down the license plate number, which led the police to the suspect. The 33-year-old man, who has a history of drug abuse — is alleged to have covered the license plate with wet tissue paper to avoid being tracked.
