Updated Saturday, January 30, 2010 11:09 am TWN, The China Post news staff 2 men arrested in shooting incident at MRT stationThe men were nabbed Thursday in Yungkang, Tainan County after police identified them as the suspects from surveillance camera footage, the officials were cited by the Central News Agency as saying. According to the officials, the suspects told police that they were waiting at a red-light across the road from the MRT station when they shot their BB gun randomly from inside their car. After realizing that they had hit and broken the glass at the entrance of the station, they fled and returned to their home in Yungkang. During the arrest, police uncovered an air gun along with two home-made handguns, several rounds of ammunitions, and 1.8 grams of amphetamine, the officials said. The suspects were identified by their surnames, Shih, 33, and Pan, 27. They told police that they were driving home after eating at Kaohsiung's Liuho Night Market when they stopped at the red-light.
