Yilan Summer Paradise receives warm responses
The China Post news staffThe Summer Paradise of Yilan 2010 activities organized by the Yilan County Government received great responses from tourists since its inauguration July 3.

The Summer Paradise of Yilan series included popular festivals such as the Yilan International Children's Folklore and Folkgame Festival at Dongshan River Water Park featuring multi-faceted performances from different countries will be the central feature, the Yilan Ocean Carnival at Toucheng coastal recreation area, which celebrates the oceanic culture of the county and Yilan Camping Season at Wulaokeng Scenic Area.
21 dance troupes and music groups from 20 countries will perform during this year's children festival, which will also include exhibitions and games.
The first troupe to arrive, “General Las Heras” from Argentina, will present traditional folklore dances in the festival such as the malambo, the carnavalito and many others.
The highlight of the Yilan Ocean Carnival, on the other hand, is the music performance over this weekend (July 17 and 18) featuring local pop stars as well as indie bands.
