The police had to use nine forms to document all the items. Ho and Liao denied the theft charges and said all the goods belong to a man surnamed Hung. They admitted possessing illegal drugs, including amphetamines and inhalators. The police were investigating a theft case and found out that the suspect Hung frequented an apartment on Zhangan Street. After observing Hung for a period of time, the police got a warrant and searched the apartment on Saturday. The police said the three people allegedly broke into apartments in Hualien and sold the loot in the black market. They believe the more valuable goods were sold already.
