“With the global population growing, most of the people living in smaller cities like Tainan can be areas of experimentation to show creative ways of transport,” said Dr. Eric Britton, the founder of Car Free Day. Britton was referring to his projects in Taiwan.
“We'd like to have one city in Taiwan who says we can do that and we want to be the example not only for other cities in Taiwan but also other cities in the world,” Britton added.
Tainan along with NCKU can develop into a great model to demonstrate innovative ideas of transportation in a city, according to Britton.
