Taipei book fair stars from Belgium to enjoy Taiwan

Belgian children's book illustrator and writer Kitty Crowther said she was very excited about the show, which opens Wednesday, and looked forward to interacting with local readers and visitors.

“It's like throwing a stone in the water, and you don't know how it expands,” said Crowther, who won the 2010 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award from the Swedish Arts Council — the biggest prize in children's literature — and is visiting Taiwan for the first time.
