Envoy pushes for further Vietnam language classesCNA TAIPEI--Taiwan's government should provide easier access to Vietnamese-language learning in view of its growing engagement with Vietnam and the rising Vietnamese population in Taiwan, according to the head of the Vietnamese Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei.
January 10, 2013, 12:04 am TWN Bui Trong Van said his office has been in talks with several Taiwanese universities, senior high schools and elementary schools that are interested in opening Vietnamese language courses. “We have made some initial efforts jointly with these schools, which will become the main drivers of our Vietnamese language learning efforts from now on,” he said recently at a news conference to launch an e-learning collaborative project between the two countries.
