Updated Tuesday, November 24, 2009 11:28 am TWN, The China Post news staff Ex-TAS faculty member Cox dies in U.S.Cox worked at TAS from August 1963 to June 1994 as an Upper School Counselor. Cox interviewed and tested most of the students who entered TAS from the late 1960s until the 1980s. He was the main liaison between the local community and TAS, as he was a Harvard-educated scholar fluent in Chinese and English, and was also able to speak Japanese. Cox was also one of the charter members and a founder of the Taipei international Church. He was a board member and an active member of the American University Club and served on the Board of Directors of the Taipei International House. A memorial luncheon has been organized in his honor scheduled for Saturday, December 5 at the Grand Hotel.
