NTOU adds a sister university in China

NTOU President Lee Kuo-tien and Jiangnan University President Chen Jian signed a memorandum on behalf of their universities at the Taiwan university’s campus.

Under the agreement, the two universities will jointly hold academic meetings and special lectures, send scholars to each other’s campus for short-term research or teaching programs, allow their students to go to the other side for short-term study, and exchange academic papers and books.

Chen was heading a four-member delegation of Jiangnan University on the visit to Taiwan. The other three members of the delegation are Zhang Hao, dean of the university’s School of Food Science and Technology; Xia Wenshui, director of the Department of Food Science and Technology; and Liu Lixia, director of the International Office.
