TAIPEI, Taiwan -- A South Korean comedian recently thanked the Taiwanese people for finding his lost cellphone during his previous visit to the country.
Comedian Jo Se-ho made the remarks in the latest episode of South Korean variety show “Roommate,” which was aired in the country on Aug. 3rd.
Jo said he lost his smartphone during a taxi ride in Taiwan this July as he headed for Raohe Street Night Market for the shooting of an episode of “Roommate.”
He was extremely anxious after discovering he had lost his phone. A Taiwanese woman immediately volunteered to help him, accompanying him to the nearby Songshan Precinct of Taipei City Police Department to report the loss.
He ended up getting his phone back with the assistance of the woman, the police, and the taxi driver.
“Taiwanese are the best, so are the police.” said Jo during the show.
“Roommate” is a reality show that records ten celebrities living together in the same house.
Four celebrities toured Taiwan in celebration of their 100th day as roommates. They were model, Jo, actresses Lee So-ra and Hong Soo-hyun, and member of pop group After School, Nana.
