On the Central American leg of the trip, Wang will visit two of Taiwan's diplomatic allies in the region — Nicaragua and El Salvador.
In the U.S., Wang will give a speech at the opening of the annual meeting of the U.S. National Speakers Conference in Anchorage, Alaska.
“Stephen G. Lakis, president of the State Legislative Leaders Foundation (SLLF), invited me to attend the Anchorage meeting,” Wang said Friday. The speaker said he will focus on the common vision of Taiwanese and American legislative institutions on issues such as democratic values and public interest.
