Taiwan -- Tainan mayor fails to confront interior minister
Tainan Mayor William Lai headed to Taipei to confront Interior Minister Lee Hong-yuan (李鴻源) on his comparison of Tainan's railway construction to the Dapu home-razes, but was unable to make contact with him due to scheduling confusion.
Part of the central government's 10 new large-scale construction projects, a segment of 7.55-kilometer-long railway tracks in Tainan is scheduled to be relocated underground, east of its original location.
