An Air Force F-16 jet fighter encountered abnormal vibrations in one of its wheels as it was returning to Chiayi airport Wednesday morning, forcing the joint civil/military facility to close for about three hours.
The Alishan Forest Railway in southern Taiwan will resume service at 8 a.m. Sunday, its operator said Saturday.
Service on Alishan railway main line to be suspended
The Alishan Forest Railway in southern Taiwan will again suspend service on its main line, on Friday and Saturday to repair damaged tracks, after the line was reopened Thursday following two days of closure due to Typhoon Megi.
