A man in Changhua County was indicted Monday on charges of stealing a parrot that flew onto his property last August.
 
Probed ex-magistrate sues district prosecutor
Former Changhua Magistrate Cho Po-yuan (卓伯源) declared he would file a lawsuit against a prosecutor of the Changhua District Prosecutors Office, (CDPO, 彰化地檢署) Chu Jian-fu (朱健福), at the Legislative Yuan yesterday afternoon accusing him of initiating an unlawful search of his residence and leaking confidential information to the press afterwards.
