Taiwan -- 1 killed, 7 hurt in highway traffic accident
The driver of a tour bus was killed and seven of its passengers injured after the vehicle hit a truck from behind on a highway yesterday, police said.

Two lives were lost in a road accident in Miaoli County on Sunday. The victim Fu Pei-ling, who was eight months pregnant, was riding her scooter on her way back after bringing lunch to her husband when her motorbike was hit by an automobile, killing her and her baby on the spot. The family is in mourning.
