First I-Kuan Tao elementary school
This is an overview of the first elementary school to be set up by followers of I-Kuan Tao (一貫道). Inaugurated on Monday, the school, dubbed Chunghua Bilingual Elementary School (崇華雙語小學), is located in the southern county of Pingtung. According to its followers, I-Kuan Tao is the belief in and worship of God (Lord of all souls).

Baby, mother survive ambulance accident
Emergency response teams pull a pregnant woman from an ambulance Thursday, June 30 in Pingtung. The ambulance was en route to the hospital with the pregnant woman in tow when it became involved in a road accident with two passenger vehicles. The woman suffered scratches and a cesarean section was preformed immediately when she arrived at the hospital.
