Cross-strait creative fair scheduled for October 24

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The seventh Cross-strait Cultural Creative Industry Fair (CCCIF) is set to take place in Xiamen, southeastern China from Oct. 24 to 27, according to its organizer.

The fair has four major themes: “Arts and Crafts,” “Creative Designs,” “Film and TV Broadcast” and “Digital Content,” said the Asia Pacific Cultural Creative Industry Association (APCCIA), which organizes the event.

The organizer said the event will feature 2,500 booths on a floor space of 46,000 square meters at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Franz Chen, chairman of the APCCIA, said that since its first edition in 2008, the fair has become one of the most important events for Taiwan's players in the cultural creative industry, and many exhibitors have participated every year.

He said CCCIF is an ideal platform for Taiwan firms to understand China's cultural creative industry and look for partners in the country.
