China urged to end vetoes of bids to join UN bodiesThe country's bids to join such U.N.-affiliated organizations and other nongovernmental organizations have time after time faced strong opposition from China, he noted. Wu made the remark at a meeting following a briefing by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) officials on the present status of Taiwan's bids to join the organizations.
