Enterprise Co. in Xindian City of Taipei County, said that he has earned permission from Venerable Shi Yongxin, abbot of Shaolin Temple, in China's Henan Province, according to a report in the United Daily News. Teng said in the report that it took him ten years, during which he made numerous trips to Shaolin Temple, to win the nod from the abbot. According to the plan, Teng said his company will produce 365 short films teaching martial arts — lasting for three to five minutes each. The product could cost around NT$100 million, Teng said. However, Lin Sheng-jieh, who claimed to be an official representative of Shaolin Temple in Taiwan, cast doubts on the project.
