500 Facebook netizens help find mystery guy

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- An ordinary ride on the MRT turned into a romantic search across the Internet when a woman snapped a photo with her cellphone of a fellow passenger who caught her eye while he dozed and later launched an online search to find him.

At her friend's urging, the woman, nicknamed “Lu Lu” on Facebook, used the social networking Web site to find the mystery MRT man. With more than 500 netizens helping, within a week she discovered his identity.

The anonymous cute guy, Han Re-xi, 26, was recognized by a manager working in Sinyi Real Estate Agency, according to the Apple Daily News.

“I was surprised and flattered by the news. I hope that I can meet the lady who took the picture and make friends with her, but now I don't know how to reach her and she hasn't reached me,” he said during a phone interview with The China Post.

The manager, surnamed Chen said he received a message with the man's picture on Facebook, and as a Sinyi employee, he recognized Han's uniform, according to the Apple Daily.

Unfortunately, Han, now famous throughout the country, is in a stable relationship.

After serving in the army, Han found his first job in the Sinyi housing agency and worked for a year. He once appeared in a TV advertisement for his company. “I have a lot of business coming these days, and most of the customers are assigned to see me,” Han said. “I feel very happy.”

When asked if he has aspirations for the entertainment business, he said, “I am shy, it's better to stick to what I am doing now.”
