Urine samples were collected for laboratory test. There was no reaction to amphetamine, a Veterans General Hospital spokesman said yesterday. But police insist another test is necessary. Urine tests can detect drugs only one or two days after being taken, police said. “We hope,” a police spokesman said, “for a drug hair test.” Hair tests can detect drug use up to one year after the being ingested, according to police.
