Winning numbers for Super Lotto announced

Executives reported brisk ticket sales for the Issue No. 097005 mainly because of the Chinese New Year holidays mood, which help stimulate the consumers’ taste for trying out their luck.

Sales of lottery tickets have surged in recent days as more companies have become major purchasers of tickets as part of the rewards given to their employees.

Many employees, especially those who have to take up shifts on the New Year’s Day and other days in the holiday season at department stores and other shopping centers, were seen flashing their lotto tickets contained in red envelopes.

TLC executives said lucky customers who won prize money under NT$2,000 may directly claim their prizes at all lotto retailing stations.

Those winning prize money exceeding the amount of NT$2,000 will have to wait for next week to get the prizes at designated bank branches when the financial institutions reopen for business.

For the more lucky ones who win prize money over NT$5 million may make phone calls to 0800-024-999 or use the information provided on the Web site www.taiwanlottery.com.tw to contact the firm between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to make advance reservations to claim the prizes at the conclusion of the New Year holidays next week.

In case no one wins the top prize, the prize money will be automatically lumped into the jackpot for the next issue.

The top prize jackpot will continue to expand until any particular customer eventually picks the winning numbers, or when several winners are able to jointly share the pot of money, explained the TLC executives.
