Taiwan, United Kingdom education experts to meet in TaipeiAccording to the official, around 220 representative from universities in Taiwan and the UK, including Keith Hoggart, vice president of King’s College London, will attend the meeting jointly organized by the British Council in Taipei, the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan and the Ministry of Education. During the meeting participants will discuss a wide range of issues concerning joint degrees and courses, research and academic collaboration, as well as international student recruitment, the official pointed out. The official noted that Stephen Jackson, director of reviews at the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for Higher Education in England, will deliver a briefing on the evaluation system for higher education in the UK. | |||||||||||||
