His teammates Chu Hung-lin and Kuo Yi-feng, who were also with him, were fined NT$50,000. The three were photographed by paparazzi during their outing. After the team’s manager Hung Jui-he was informed of the situation yesterday, he immediately penalized them, according to the United Evening News. A spokesperson for Hung, Cheng Nai-chi, told reporters that no matter where a team player lives, he is not allowed to violate the imposed nightly curfew. Originally established as an amateur team in 1984 by the Brother Hotel of Taipei City, the Brother Elephants later joined the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) in 1989.
