Underground futures dealer nabbed for debt collectionInvestigators said Lin had the teenage boys throw rotten eggs into the homes of those who had failed to pay up the losses they suffered by gambling on futures. “They made rotten eggs by exposing fresh eggs to strong sunshine for a few days,” one investigator said. “These rotten eggs stink like hell,” he added. A few dozens of egg bombs would make a home reek with an intolerable smell that would force the victims to pay back the debt or their neighbors to file complaints with police. These boys were placed under command of Chung two assistants: Wang Chih-hsiang, 25, of Taipei, and his brother Chih-cheng, 24. The identity of the six teenagers was withheld. Police would also press illegal futures dealing charges against Lin, who operates half a dozen outlets in the greater Taipei area. | |||||||||||||
