Taiwan opens auto parts trade show in Myanmar

YANGON, Myanmar--A Taiwan-sponsored international trade show of parts and components for automobiles and motorcycles opened in Yangon, Myanmar, featuring 97 exhibitors from eight countries.

The four-day event, now in its second year, was organized by the Taipei-based Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), a semi-official organization devoted to the promotion of trade overseas.

This year, companies from the United States, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, China, Myanmar and Taiwan set up a total of 146 booths in the Tatmadaw Exhibition Hall to showcase their products.
