TAIPEI, Taiwan -- MaDonald's Taiwan is broadcasting all FIFA World Cup soccer games live from Brazil at its 112 outlets around the island throughout the entire tournament from June 13 to July 17.
The fast food chain said the games will all be broadcast in high definition.
While the broadcasts from Brazil start late at night and end early in the morning, the McDonald's outlets will become "24-hour sports restaurants" for soccer fans, it said.
It will also be launching two new burgers during the period — a chicken burger with bell peppers and a beef burger with mushrooms, the fast food chain announced.
It added that starting from June 13 through July 14, soccer fans watching live games at McDonald's outlets will be able buy special meals at discounted prices between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m.
The fast food chain is also launching special-edition French fries packed in specially designed World Cup boxes.
