Five-in-one food show plans to open its doors to food, business on June 25

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The 24th Taipei International Food Show will be held between June 25 and 28, featuring a total of five shows: Food Taipei, FoodTech & PharmaTech Taipei, Taipei Pack, Taiwan Horeca, and Halal Taiwan.
Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the five-in-one mega show will be held at Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Nangang Exhibition Hall and TWTC Exhibition Hall 1. More than 3,700 stands have already been set up by more than 1,500 companies at the exhibition halls, the TAITRA said.
Brand names Bizerba and Kerres from Germany will present their food preparation equipment. Sun Village Wince Co. (上村酒廠) will showcase its fruit wine. Dynas International Corp. (威加國際) will present its naturally made camellia oil and organic miso products. Chu Bar Wang (廚霸王) will showcase their cookware such as ovens and noodle boilers. Ai Shin Machine (愛心機械廠) will showcase its fully automatic packaging machines.
With the newly launched MRT Xinyi Line and Nangang Line, the TAITRA expects higher numbers of visitors this year. For added convenience, the organizer is offering a free shuttle service to transport visitors between the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall and TWTC Exhibition Hall 1. Business attendants may also apply for a pass which may be used throughout the four-day exhibition period.
According to the TAITRA website, products exhibited at the show encompass fresh fruits and vegetables, preserved fruits and vegetables, poultry, seafood, meat and processed meat products, edible oils, dairy products, health food, frozen prepared food, canned food, baked food, biscuits, wine and liquor, coffee and tea, juice and soft drinks, condiments and confectionery and ice cream.
The show is open to professionals only between June 25 and 27, and is open to the general public on June 28. Tickets sell at NT$300 per adult and are not available to children under twelve years old.
