Gasoline, diesel prices to stay unchanged this week: refiners

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- State-run CPC Corp. (中油) announced yesterday that based on the latest movements of its floating oil price index, the price of domestic fuel will remain unchanged remained unchanged over the course of this week.

CPC stated that the per-liter price for 92-octane, 95-octane and 98-octane unleaded gasoline its gas stations will remain at NT$33.4, NT$34.9, and NT$36.9, respectively, while the price of premium diesel will hold at NT$32.2 per liter.

Meanwhile, the Fomosa Petrochemical Co. (台塑化) announced that the per-liter price of unleaded gasoline at its gas stations this week will be set at NT$33.3, NT$34.9, NT$37.1 for 92-octane, 95-octane and 98-octane unleaded gasoline, with the price of premium diesel set at NT$32.2 per liter.

The company stated that although its floating oil price index warranted a 0.03 percent downward adjustment, the figure did not warrant a change in the price of domestic fuel.
